The significance of the cherry blossom tree in Japanese culture goes back hundreds of years. In their country, the cherry blossom represents the fragility and the beauty of life. It's a reminder that life is almost overwhelmingly beautiful but that it is also tragically short.
What a Beauty it is to watch the cherry blossom... Life is Definitely Beautiful when we happen to sit under a cherry blossom tree. I wish to experience it one day....Until then here is my quilled cherry blossom branch with two birds (resembling LOVE) :) About the Project:I have colored the canvas board blue for the sky.I have used brown quilled paper for the branches.Few branches are made by quilling spirals.Birds in red quilled paper- loose coils made to shape like a bird . One facing front and the other facing backwardsThe blooming pink flowers are made with eccentric rolls with a yellow fringed flower in the center. I truely enjoyed rolling every bit of this project.... I am entering this project for the Indian Quilling Challenge IQCG#23
